Amelia Jane Foster

June 26, 1930 — October 19, 2020

With great sadness we announce the passing of Amelia Jane Foster on October 19, 2020. She is survived by 5 children: Christine Mroz, Terry Foster (Rosemary), Larry Foster (Penny), Greg Foster (Gail) and Josephine Foster-Amato (Perry). Brothers and sisters, Anna Perzyk (deceased), Edward Perzyk (Pat), Sylvia Schultes (Arnold), Sister Maria Jose (deceased), Leon Perzyk (Joyce). She was also blessed to have 13 Grandchildren and 21 Great Grandchildren.

Amelia was born in her parent's home on June 26, 1930 in Hamtramck, MI. She was a strong Catholic woman who always enjoyed the Polish tradition. Some examples were singing the Polish birthday song and the butter lamb at Easter, which she always had to have. She was a great cook and those who were able to enjoy her dishes where fortunate. She loved to play the piano and enjoyed music.

During her working career Amelia was a nurse and devoted to her profession. She was totally committed to family and their well-being despite many challenges. She was loved by her family and she will be dearly missed.

Funeral to be held at St. Louis Catholic Church in Clinton Township, MI. Interment will be at Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton Township, Michigan.
