Angela Alonzi

Aug 19, 1963 — Jun 19, 2026

Shelby Township, Michigan

Angela Alonzi, 62, passed away in her home surrounded by her loved ones, leaving behind a legacy of compassion, and strength.

Angela dedicated much of her life to caring for others, both people and animals. She was an avid animal lover whose heart was especially devoted to dogs. Through her years of fostering dogs and working with animal rescue organizations, she provided countless animals with love, safety, and a second chance at life. Her compassion knew no bounds, and she touched the lives of many through her selfless dedication to helping those in need.

In 1994, Angela began her career with Ford Motor Company, where she worked with dedication and pride for many years. She valued the friendships she made throughout her career and took great pride in her work.

In her younger years, Angela was known for her sense of style and elegance. She never left the house without looking her best, always making sure her hair was done, her makeup was perfect, and her nails were beautifully maintained. She carried herself with confidence and grace, and those who knew her will always remember her polished appearance and vibrant spirit.

Angela was also known for being stubborn and outspoken. She wasn't afraid to speak her mind, stand up for what she believed in, or advocate for those who needed a voice—including the many animals she rescued throughout her life. While her determination could sometimes be challenging, it was also one of her greatest strengths. The people who loved her knew that her fierce spirit came from a place of passion, loyalty, and a heart that cared deeply.

Outside of work, Angela found joy in some of life's simplest pleasures. She loved boating and spending time on the water, where she felt most at peace. She also loved fishing, camping, and traveling, always looking forward to her next adventure and the opportunity to make new memories. Whether it was a day on the lake, a camping trip, or exploring somewhere new, Angela was happiest when she was outdoors and surrounded by the people and things she loved.

Angela was an exceptional cook who delighted in preparing meals for family and friends, expressing her love through food. One of her favorite traditions was making crab legs and lobster tails every New Year's Eve for her children, Michael and Kristin. These special dinners became cherished family memories and reflected the love she poured into caring for her family. Not surprisingly, crab legs and lobster tails were also among her favorite meals.

Angela was preceded in death by her parents, Joe Pino V (Sue) and Barbara Walker, and her sisters, Marion Pino and Jennifer Pino.

She is survived by her children, Michael Bayus Jr. and Kristin Monday (Jon Monday); her cherished grandchildren, Noah Bayus, Jonathan Monday Jr., and Kinsley Monday; and her brothers, David Pino and Joe Pino VI. She also leaves behind many extended family members, friends, and fellow animal advocates who will miss her dearly.

Angela will be remembered for her generous heart, her fierce love for animals, her devotion to her family, her determination, and her ability to make an impression on everyone she met. Whether she was rescuing a dog, preparing a meal, casting a fishing line, enjoying a day on the water, or creating treasured family traditions, she embraced life with passion and conviction.

Though our hearts are broken by her loss, we find comfort in knowing that her love lives on in the family she cherished, the animals she saved, and the countless memories she leaves behind. Her kindness, strength, and unwavering love will never be forgotten.

Forever loved, forever missed, forever remembered.
