Angeline Mary Rudolph, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on February 12, 2025, in Clinton Township, Michigan, at the age of 88. Born on January 7, 1937, in El Centro, California, Angeline’s life was characterized by her unwavering dedication to her family and her zest for companionship and community.
Angeline, née Dicerto, embraced life with a spirit of hard work and enthusiasm. She was a vibrant individual who exuded warmth and kindness, drawing friends and family into her circle with ease. Her greatest joy was found in creating memorable meals and hosting joyous holiday gatherings, always ensuring that family events were a priority in her life. She viewed every opportunity to be together with loved ones as a chance to celebrate and strengthen bonds.
Angeline possessed a diverse array of interests that enriched her life and the lives of others. She had a passion for travel, deliciously relished baking cookies for her family and friends, and devoted herself to knitting and crochet projects. Later in life, her nurturing spirit extended to caring for and fostering abandoned cats, working diligently to prepare them for adoption.
Her proudest accomplishment was her unwavering commitment to her family. She took immense gratification in being actively involved in the lives of her beloved children: Gayle Hobert, Brian (Kim) Fisher, and Antoinette “Toni” Fisher (Barry Kannell). She cherished her role as grandmother to Joseph (Jessica), Kayla and great-grandmother to Lauren, Josh, Abigail, Samuel, Logan, and great-great-grandmother to Carter Hobert. Angeline also shared a close bond with her sisters, Anna Johnson (Roy) and Valerie Kachur, and enjoyed relationships with many friends and family members who enriched her life. Further survivors include her furry companions in her cats, Stella, Sophia and Alexander. Angeline is survived by many other friends and family.
Angeline was preceded in death by her husband Gary Rudolph, her parents Valentine and Angeline Dicerto, and her siblings Gaetona Lenox, Salvatore Dicerto, and Valentine Dicerto.
A Mass celebrating the life of Angeline Mary Rudolph will be held at St. Lawrence Church, located at 44633 Utica Rd, Utica, MI 48317, on February 28, 2025, beginning at 10:00 AM with a luncheon following at 11:00 AM.
Angeline’s legacy of love, dedication, and joyful gatherings will forever remain in the hearts of those who were fortunate to know her. Her spirit will continue to inspire and uplift all those who carry her memory.
