In Loving Memory

Anthony Little, born June 18, 1968, was called home to be with the Lord on March 25, 2026, at the age of 57. Early on, Anthony embraced his free spirit and lived with fearless authenticity. Living his truth as a proud member of the LGBTQIA+ community, he moved through the world on his own terms, with a sense of independence and a perspective uniquely his own. His presence was a testament to living boldly, laughing freely, and finding joy in life in his own way.

Anthony had a great sense of humor, and his presence could brighten any room. He could also be a stubborn, bullheaded pain in the butt at times, but those who knew him will always remember the joy, laughter, and warmth he brought into their lives. He had a way of making even the simplest moments memorable—whether sharing a funny family memory or craftily asking someone to pay his phone bill.

Though he did not spend much of his early years in traditional employment, Anthony found meaningful purpose later in life. In his 50s, he dedicated himself to caring for others, serving as a compassionate caregiver to individuals with mental health challenges and the elderly. In this role, he offered patience, kindness, and quiet strength, leaving a lasting impact on the lives of those he served.

Over the past year, Anthony faced a number of different health challenges, only to later learn that it was cancer. Through it all, he showed strength and resilience, and in the end, found peace as God called him home.

Anthony is survived by his mother, Lillie Little; his sister, Nikia Banks and her husband, Willie Banks; his brothers, Carl and Carlos Little; their wives, Marquetta and Audrey Little; and his youngest brother, Torry Little. He also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends who will remember him for his free-spirited nature, his laughter, and the care he showed in his own way.

Anthony’s life reminds us that purpose can be found at any stage, and that even the quietest acts of care can leave a lasting impact.

Anthony, also known as Alexus, will be greatly missed and will forever remain in our hearts.
