It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Anthony Wayne Wickowski, who left this world on May 10, 2024, in Columbus, Michigan. Anthony, affectionately known as Tony, was born on August 2, 1957, in Detroit, Michigan.

Tony led a life full of love, laughter, and creativity. He was a kind-hearted man who was always ready lend a helping hand to anyone in need. His passion for tinkering and creating new designs knew no bounds, showcasing remarkable creativity and innovative spirit.

One of Tony's defining traits was his sense of humor and outgoing personality. He had a gift for engaging conversations and could light up any room with his presence. His love for interacting with others endeared him to many.

Among his hobbies and interests, Tony found solace in camping, strolls in nature, leisurely car rides, playing with remote-controlled boats and cars, as well as assembling various projects. However, his greatest joy stemmed from being out on the water fishing. Whether he was spending time on a boat with his sons and grandsons or casting a line offshore, fishing brought him immeasurable peace and happiness.

Tony's proudest accomplishments were centered around his role as a loving and devoted husband, father, and papa. Family meant everything to him, and he cherished every moment spent with his loved ones, whether he was watching his grandson's play baseball and basketball, family gatherings or times on the lake, every moment mattered to Tony.

Tony is survived by his beloved wife of 46 years, Carol Wickowski; his children: TJ  (Nicole) Wickowski, Julie (Chris) Sanders, Stephen; grandchildren: Corey, Dylan & Jacob; sister Monica Wickowski Pineau; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents Frank & Nancy Wickowski.

A Memorial Service to celebrate Tony's life will be held at Holy Innocents St. Barnabas Church in Roseville, MI on June 1, 2024. May his memory live on in the hearts of all those who were fortunate enough to know him.

Rest In Peace, Tony Wickowski. Your kindness and creativity will be dearly missed but forever cherished among us.
