Betty Ann Dombrowski age 82 died Wednesday January 8, 2014 at McLaren Macomb Hospital in Mount Clemens Michigan. Betty was born September 4, 1931 in Black River Michigan the daughter of the late George and Thelma Tolgo.
Betty married at the young of 19 and soon became a mother... She would eventually have five young mouths to feed and will be forever remembered as a devoted and loving Mom to all. Over the years the young family moved around and eventually settled in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Betty worked tirelessly raising her children and in additional to raising her own she became employed cooking for the business Fraternity and Sorority at Lake Superior State College where again Betty would become an extended mother to the young students.
When not working or tending to her family, Betty enjoyed her solitude painting and gardening. Betty also enjoyed being surrounded by others and offered her spare time singing at the local nursing homes. The singing brought great joy not only to Betty but the others whom she sang to. Betty will be remembered as a gentle soul, who was generous and giving, and also a person who cared deeply for others.
