Billy Joe Weaver

September 30, 1951 — March 24, 2024

Harrison

In loving memory of Billy Joe Weaver, known affectionately as "Bill." Bill was born on September 30th, 1951, in Cookeville, Tennessee, and later moved to Michigan as a young child. He proudly served in the military, stationed in Germany, starting in 1969. After his service, Bill worked at Detroit Trim as a material cutter before transferring to McGraw Glass Plant, where he worked as a glass handler. Bill also owned and operated his own roofing company for 20 years.

Outside of work, Bill had a passion for hunting and fishing. He found joy in spending time at his cottage on Cranberry Lake, creating cherished memories with friends and family. Bill will always be remembered for his love and dedication to his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Paul and Hazeltine Weaver, as well as his brother, Butch Weaver. He is survived by his siblings Cecil Weaver, Tina (Dave) Verfaillie, Jimmy Weaver, Paulette Osabka, and Julie (Kevin) Kiddle.

Bill leaves behind a lasting legacy through his children, Jason Weaver and Krissa Weaver; as well as his grandchildren, Amber, Jason, Dominique, and Bruce; and great-grandchildren, Skylar, Ryder and Cameron. He also had a special place in his heart for his many uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Bill is also survived by his loving girlfriend of over 13 years, Gloria Klopfer.

Bill's warm presence, love for his family, and his zest for life will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. May his memory be a source of comfort and inspiration during this difficult time.
