Carl Anthony Rasimas

R Carl always said that he had two great loves of his life: his Pershing High School sweetheart and wife of 59 years, Janet (Saur) with whom he built a home, raised a family (Jeffrey and Amy), and traveled the world; and later, his girlfriend Sharon (Kopitzke) with whom he shared his golden years, golfing and surrounded by her loving family.

Carl however had many other loves in his life: his grandchildren (Peter, Andrew, Alex and Lucy); his ragtag group of golfing buddies; his professional work (Orthopedic Surgeon); his neighborhood (whose kids he always patched up and sent on their way); his seemingly endless appetite for sweets in the morning; his boundless sense of humor and grace which he bestowed upon his numerous friends and colleagues; and the many hounds he spoiled throughout his life, including his trusted golfing companion, Laser.

Carl was predeceased by his parents (Samuel and Regina), his wife (Janet), his brother (Robert) and his son (Jeffrey). There will be no funeral or memorial services per Carl's wishes.
