Catherine Marie Schultz

On June 8, 2025, Catherine Marie Schultz, age 74, of Utica, Michigan, passed away peacefully surrounded by family.

Cathy was born on September 23, 1950 in Detroit, Michigan. She married the love of her life on September 23, 1972. Amongst her many talents, Cathy enjoyed her job as a hairdresser, but most of all being a mom and grandma. She had a big influence on her children and grandchildren. Cathy was a very crafty, hard-working woman and there seemed nothing she could not do. She was kind-hearted and treated others with grace and love. Cathy lit up every room she entered. She enjoyed helping people. Cathy was known for putting others before herself (well that, and her enormous movie collection).

Catherine was preceded in death by her husband of 30 years, James Dennis Schultz, and her parents and siblings. Remaining to cherish her memory are her children Stacy, Jim (Shannon) , Sarah (Christian), John (Nicole), and Damon (Lynzee). "Grandma North" or "Mrs. Grandma", as she was called, will be deeply missed by her grandchildren Kylene (Jerry), Hailey, Paul, Charlotte A., Trudy, James C., Kelsie (Quentin), Olivia, Leah, James D., Charlotte K., Evelyn, Delaney and Drew.
