Cynthia Jane Ammon, affectionately known as Cindy, was born on June 26, 1961, in Mount Clemens, Michigan. She departed this life on September 8, 2024, in Clinton Township, Michigan, leaving behind a rich tapestry of love and cherished memories.

Cindy was known for her adventurous spirit and large, loving heart. Family was the centerpiece of her life, and her greatest joy came from the moments shared with her daughters, Laurie Jones, Rachel Ammon, Chelsea Ammon, and Brittany Meyer. She embraced her role as a mother with immense pride, finding her proudest accomplishments in nurturing her children and becoming an amazing grandmother to Emily Hinton, Taylor Ammon, Alyssa Hinton, and Ryan Hinton. Her family was ever the priority, and she treasured every opportunity to create lasting memories together, particularly on ocean vacations that held a special place in her heart.

Her remarkable strength and kindness left a lasting impact on everyone she met. With a unique ability to add a personal twist to everything she did, Cindy was a beacon of love and support. Celebrated for her generosity and caring nature, she ensured that every gathering was filled with joy and warmth, solidifying her legacy as a devoted mother and grandmother.

Cindy's bonds extended beyond her immediate family. She is survived by her life partner, Dave Meyer; her siblings, Debbie (Carl) Atwell, Duane Staub, and Dan (Janet) Staub; as well as a host of beloved nieces and nephews, including Megan, Chris, Courtney, Carl, Brianna, Justin, Josh, Dylan, Dalton, and Kaitlyn.

Cindy was preceded in death by her parents, Dale Staub and Gaile Staub, who surely welcomed her with open arms.
