Danny Leo Borowicz, a dedicated professional and beloved family man, passed away peacefully at his home in Roseville, Michigan on February 24, 2025, surrounded by his loved ones. Born on June 20, 1954, in Flint, Michigan, Danny spent 40 years of his career as an ID/OD grinder for Hydra-Lock, where he earned the respect and admiration of colleagues before retiring four years ago.
Danny was not only a professional but also a family-oriented person. He was a devoted husband to Linda and a loving father to Nicholas, Nichole (Delbert) Judy, and Amanda (Adam) Kedzior. His greatest pride came from being a grandfather to Foley, Cali, and Danni. The love he had for his family was evident in everything he did, especially as he passionately supported his grandchildren in their sporting events.
Beyond his family obligations, Danny enjoyed spending summers in Cheboygan, a place that held special meaning for him. He was an avid sports fan who loved cheering on the Detroit Lions, Tigers, and Red Wings, bringing his enthusiasm for sports into the hearts of those around him.
Danny's siblings, Arlene Daniel, Ricky (Betty) Borowicz, Marguerite Hermance, Dawn (Bill) Daman, Mitchell (Kathy) Borowicz, and Billy Borowicz mourn his loss alongside his extended family. Known affectionately as "Uncle Boone," he will be deeply missed by his many nieces and nephews.
Danny was predeceased by his mother Joanne Owen and his father Leo Borowicz, who will surely greet him with open arms.
In honor of his memory, there will be no formal funeral services, but a celebration of life will be held at a later date. Danny's legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
