David Milton Gingrich

David M. Gingrich, of Warren, Michigan; passed away peacefully on June 18, 2024 at the age of 82.

David served in the United States Navy and loved being in and near the water most of his life, swimming and boating occasionally. He enjoyed travelling with his loving wife, Laurie, after retiring from Ford Motor Company. He was meticulous in maintaining his home while enjoying the perfectly groomed yard. He was also known for cooking delicious food, and maintained a very healthy lifestyle. He was passionate about attending antique car shows and  had a deep knowledge about their history and the make.

David is survived by his beloved wife, Laurie. He also leaves behind three children; David "Scott" Gingrich, daughter-in-law Dr. Maha Gingrich, and grandchild Dr. Pavani Gingrich; Anne Marie Hoeninghausen and grandchildren Claire and Eric Hoeninghausen; and Beth Christine Iacobacci, son-in-law Paolo Iacobacci, and grandchildren Simona, Isabella, Paolo, and Antonio Iacobacci. He is also survived by his stepson Robert DeWinter, daughter-in-law Mary DeWinter, and stepson Michael DeWinter; as well as by his eldest sister, MaryLou Grimes of Fraser, Michigan.

In the quietude of his passing, David was reunited with his beloved parents Mr. and Mrs. Milton and Alda Gingrich; and his sisters, Nancy Ernest and Sharon Joly.
