David Stephen Roman, 88, passed away on August 19, 2026. Born on February 24, 1938, he lived a long life marked by dedication to his work, devotion to his family, and lasting connections with those around him.
David gave 31 years of service to Chrysler, building a career defined by commitment and steady hard work. After his years with Chrysler, he continued working for more than 20 years at St. Clair Shores Golf Club. His long service in both roles reflected a strong work ethic and a life spent contributing faithfully each day.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn Roman (nee;Lambert); his son, Michael Roman; his daughter, Sheri Roman; his daughter-in-law, Edith Roman; his sister, Lorraine Gerds; and his parents, Stephen and Sophie Roman.
David is survived by his partner, Michelle Blondo, whose companionship was an important part of his life. He is also survived by his sons Steve Roman and his wife Shelly, David Roman, and Dan Roman and his wife Angela. He will also be remembered by Michelle’s children, who shared in his extended family circle: Breanna Blondo and Andrew McVeigh, along with Brad Blondo, Brett Blondo, and Bryan Blondo. Those who knew David will remember him as a man whose life was deeply connected to family, work, and the relationships he built over the years.
A Celebration of Life will be held on October 3, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at the Fraternal Order of Eagles Roseclair Aerie 2895, 29500 Little Mack Ave, Roseville, MI 48066.
David Stephen Roman will be remembered with love and gratitude by all who were fortunate to share in his life.
