Donald Edward Brabant

Donald Edward Brabant, aged 91, of Roseville, MI, peacefully passed away on January 1, 2026. He was born on August 10, 1934, in Detroit, MI.

Donald was a cherished husband for 65 years to Arleen Brabant. He was a loving father to five children: Anne (Gary), Marty (Rhonda), Mark, Theresa (Frank), and Matthew (Michele). His legacy also extends to his grandchildren, Jessica, Tim, Justin, Chad, Courtney, Kyle, and Nicole, as well as his great-grandchildren, Finley, Frankie, Marshall, and Dakota.

A man of many passions, Donald looked forward to his yearly vacations at Paradise Lake in Carp Lake, MI, where fishing brought him joy. He enjoyed bowling, birdwatching, collecting stamps, and walking. After a fulfilling career, he retired from General Motors. Donald often expressed his contentment with life, famously stating that he was always “Ginger Peachy.”

In honor of his remarkable life, a Celebration of Life will be held in the Spring. Donald will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew and loved him.
