Edwin Berkin Reynolds

Edwin Berkin Reynolds passed away on February 23, 2023, at the age of 89 in Troy, Michigan.

Edwin was born on August 25, 1933 to the late Edwin and Maime (Call) Reynolds in Detroit, Michigan where he spent his early years. As he grew and enlisted in the military, Edwin was stationed at Fort Meade in Maryland, where he happened to meet Gloria Hoxter and soon enough he married the love of his life on July 15, 1955.

After the military and his wedding, Edwin returned to the Detroit area and began working for Strohs Brewery where he worked from 1955 all the way until 1985 before switching over to Better Made Chip Company, where he worked until his retirement.

Edwin was a man who really loved spending time with friends and family. He was always seen as a compassionate and very kind man. Many people always loved his company when they had the opportunity to be around him. Many of his family's memories stem from spending time in Tionesta, Pennsylvania at his cabin, called "The Shanty". This place was a place where he loved making bonfires, and many other memories with his family.

Edwin is survived by Gloria, his loving wife of 67 years, and his children, Michael, Diane (Dale), Laura (Steve), and Dawn. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Kelly, Brandon, Derek, Symone, Owen, Silas, Lexie, Haley, Jacob, and great-grandchildren; Jude, Ella, Addy, and Braxton.

Edwin Reynolds was an awesome husband, father, and shared an abundance of love for all his grandbabies. He will be greatly missed.
