Frederick Arthur Radtke, aged 72, passed away peacefully on October 13, 2024, in Warren, MI, from a long Alzheimer challenged journey. Born on January 26, 1952, Fred spent his life dedicated to his family and passions.
Fred and Paula met as Mott High (Warren, MI) students and married on October 14, 1972. He was a loving father to two daughters. Despite the challenges presented by early-onset Alzheimer's, Fred continued to express his love and affection to his family, especially grandchildren. His family remembers him as a pillar of strength and love.
Fred is survived by his wife, Paula (Jaye) Radtke; oldest daughter, Dayna (Radtke) Krug, her husband, Charles Krug, and their two cherished children; youngest daughter, Kelly Radtke; brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Linda Radtke, sister and brother-in-law, Jane (Radtke) and Dean Hutchins; and extended families. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Olive (Haigh) Radtke, and his brother and sister-in-law, Jim and Felicia Radtke.
In his younger years, Fred was an enthusiastic semi-pro hockey player with a continued love for sports throughout his life, enjoying golf and fly fishing. He also cherished RV trips, exploring new places and creating lasting memories with his family. He was a successful entrepreneur, having established F.A.R. Management, Inc. in 1987 which operates still.
Fred's final wishes, cremation without a memorial service, will be honored. His ashes will be placed alongside his parents, Carl and Olive, his brother and sister-in-law, Jim and Felicia, and other family members, in Kalkaska, Michigan. His favored Michigan area.
Fred's life was marked by his dedication to his family, innate ability to entertain, and enduring passions. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved him.
