Geralyn "Geri" Ann Malicsi, age 60, passed away peacefully at home on May 14, 2021. She was born May 17, 1960 in Detroit, daughter of the late Joseph Charles and the late Louise (nee: Abdenour) Hakim.
Geri enjoyed spending time with her family, taking trips up north, working with her "seniors," and being with friends at home or at work.
Geri was the beloved wife of Elino. Dearest mother of Ryan and Lauren. Loving sister of Teresa Hakim, Sharon (Tim) Johnson, and Michael Hakim. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, and cousins.
Memorial Service will be held on Monday, May 24th at 10:00 AM at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 22412 Overlake Street in St. Clair Shores. The service will also be live-streamed at livestream.stjoan.church.
Flowers will not be permitted at church. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
