Gregory Joseph Czarnecki, born on July 28, 1941, in Harper Woods, Michigan, passed away peacefully on December 22, 2024, in Sterling Heights, Michigan. He was 83 years old.

Gregory was predeceased by his parents, Gregory and Sophia Czarnecki.  Gregory built a remarkable career in the machining industry, where he rose from an entry-level position to become vice president. After retiring at the young age of 53, he continued to share his expertise as a consultant with tool-cutting companies. His professional accomplishments were matched by his dedication to community service as a member of the Punta Gorda Elks Lodge 2606. During his tenure as Exalted Ruler, Gregory spearheaded numerous fundraisers and was honored as Elk of the Year for 2010-2011.

An avid traveler, Gregory drove through every U.S. state, except Hawaii of course, with Alaska holding a special place in his heart. He also ventured abroad to destinations such as China and Japan. In retirement, he enjoyed golf and cherished time spent at the cabin he purchased in 1966. There, he engaged in hunting, fishing, and morel mushroom picking alongside family and friends, creating countless treasured memories.

Gregory’s final wishes were for his ashes to be taken to his beloved cabin, where friends and family could gather to celebrate his life. May his adventurous spirit and enduring legacy bring comfort to all who knew him.
