Hannelore Hildegard Sproviero

Hanna, age 81, passed away peacefully on October 8, 2025. She was the loving mother to Daniela (Bruce), Patricia (Mike), and Jacqueline (dec. George), Grandchildren, Lindsey (Kurt), George (Sara), Caitlin (David), Brandon (Sarah), Ryan (Amanda), Great Grandchildren, Dylan, Lexis, Graham, Hanna, Sara Luna, plus Baby Boy Tilli due in January, ihre Schwester (sister) Rita (Peter) und ihre Nichten (nieces) Andrea, and Karola, predeceased by her Mother, Ella, Step Father Erich, Brothers Eberhardt, and Norbert (Barbara).

 She was born and raised in Berlin Germany in 1944 and ventured across the Atlantic Ocean in 1965 with Daniela. She resided in Detroit before moving to Clinton Township to raise her daughters and retiring in Algonac, living on the North Channel. She loved boating and her home on the water. 

She enjoyed shopping, Coach purses and eating. She achieved her Real Estate License and was a successful Century 21 realtor before retiring and opening her eBay store. She loved the thrill of thrifting and reselling and spent many harvesting periods canning her own jams from her extensive berry garden, which she sold at local Farmer’s Markets. 

She carried her German heritage proudly even after becoming an American Citizen and shared her “old school German” traditions with everyone.

 She was a warrior for her last 10 months battling Pancreatic Cancer with the last 3 weeks under hospice care. Her loving girlfriend Ursula (Uschi) Armijo, visited daily, reading scriptures and German stories to her while helping us girls to care for her, Uschi got her ready for bed every night. 

She will be missed dearly by her three daughters, extended family, and friends. A Celebration of Life Luncheon will be held on November 6th from 2-6pm at Macray Harbor - 30675 N River Rd, Harrison Township, MI 48045, with a prayer service at 5pm.
