Henry Albert Behnke

Henry Albert Behnke, "Hank" age 76, passed away Saturday April 11, 2020 at Ascension St. John Hospital in Detroit, Michigan, with his son by his side. Hank was born August 15, 1943 in Warren to Henry and Marion (Graichen) Behnke.
Hank was raised in Warren attended Lincoln High School and is a Veteran of the United States Army. Hank met and married Cynthia A. Novak on October 23, 1965, and together they raised three sons.
Henry was a dedicated employee of Chrysler for over forty years, retiring in 2004. Hank always had a passion for cars and was an avid supporter of not only his boys, but also his grandchildren's various sporting events. He enjoyed snowmobiling, camping, travel, hunting , casino, and trips to the cottage with his family, sisters, brother-in-laws, and his friends.
Henry is survived by his sons Henry J "Jim" (Bridgette) Behnke, Joseph E. (Kimberly) Behnke and Justin B. Behnke; precious grandchildren, Cameron, Emma, Austin, Logan and Ashley Behnke and two loving sisters Kathy (Bernie) Cunningham and Lynn (Mark) Makie and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Hank was pre-deceased by his loving wife of 48 years Cynthia, his parents and sister Donna Jean (Dennis) Czarnecki.
