Irene Patricia Taylor

Irene Taylor (Murphy), of St. Clair Shores, Michigan, passed away peacefully on June 18,2026 at the age of 93. She was born on March 17, 1933.

Irene was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ray Taylor.

She is survived by her children, Kevin (Julie) Taylor, Mark (Sandy) Taylor, and Denise Amicucci; her grandchildren, Kerrie, Bryan, Erin, and Gianni; and her great-granddaughter, Eleanor.

Irene lived a wonderful, long life filled with love, laughter, and joy. A proud member of Dominican High School’s Class of 1951, she was voted class clown and never lost that wonderful sense of humor. Born on St. Patrick’s Day into an all-Irish family, her birthday was always a grand celebration, fitting for someone whose spirit brought happiness to so many.

She will be deeply missed by all who have had the pleasure of knowing her.

We are honoring her request for no funeral or memorial services. When you think of her lift a glass or just smile, that is what she would have wanted!! In lieu of flowers, please donate to your local Hospice Organization, they provide wonderful care!!!

We will honor Irene by remembering her with laughter, love, and a raised glass just as she would have wanted!!
