Janis Camille Bischoff

Janis Camille Bischoff, age 76, passed away peacefully on January 16, 2026, in Richmond, Michigan. She was born on November 14, 1949, in Detroit, Michigan.

Janis grew up in Roseville, Michigan, and later made her home in Sterling Heights, where she spent her adult years and raised her family. She retired from TD Auto Finance after many years of dedicated service.

Janis had a love for life and all it had to offer. She especially enjoyed traveling, with Las Vegas holding a special place in her heart. Music brought her great joy, and she loved attending concerts. Janis was an avid gardener, taking great pride in her yard, which was always kept to perfection. Thanksgiving was her favorite holiday, as she loved cooking and bringing family together around the table. She also had a profound love for animals of all kinds.

Above all else, Janis loved her family. She will be lovingly remembered by her son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Kelli Bischoff; her cherished granddaughter, Ella Bischoff; her sister, Lynn Wisneski; her nephew, Kyle Hanvey; and her niece, Amanda Wisneski.

Janis was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Eleanore Staklosa (Lipka).

She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew and loved her.

A Memorial Service will take place at a later date.
