The family of John Paul Allmacher regretfully announces his passing on July 20, 2023, at the age of 84 in Sterling Heights, Michigan. John was born on July 10th, 1939, in Detroit, Michigan to Daniel Sr. and Josephine Allmacher. He was the eldest of seven siblings and leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and kindness.

John lived a life filled with adventure and purpose, touching the hearts of everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. He brought joy to countless lives and created cherished memories that will forever be held dear by his family and friends. John was a retired Sterling Heights firefighter and took great pride in his work. His dedication to serving others was an inspiration to all who knew him.

Aside from his career, John had a deep appreciation for life's simple pleasures. He found solace and excitement in riding motorcycles, cruising along the water on boats, perfecting his golf swing, and spending quality time with his loved ones. Whether it was cheering on his favorite sports teams together or sharing laughter-filled moments at family gatherings, John's genuine presence always brightened the room.

In addition to being an exceptional firefighter and devoted family man, John possessed unwavering strength in times of sorrow. Despite facing heartache throughout his life after losing his son Nick, four brothers, one sister, and his parents before him – he continued to spread joy and love to those around him. His resilience was a testament to his remarkable character.

John is survived by his wife Sandy, whom he cherished for 42 beautiful years. Their bond was unbreakable as they navigated through life's ups and downs together – supporting one another every step of the way. He is also survived by his loving son Jeff (Amanda) Allmacher and their precious daughter Margot Penelope. John was thrilled to welcome another beautiful granddaughter into his life, who is due to arrive in October. Other survivors include his sister, Shirley (Mark) Vernier and many other nieces and nephews. The love and guidance he provided will continue to shape their lives, serving as a constant reminder of his enduring spirit.

The family will not be holding any formal viewing or services. Instead, they will be planning a memorial gathering in the near future, inviting close friends and family to come together and honor John's memory. They kindly ask that all who knew him raise a glass in his honor, celebrating the remarkable life he led.

John Paul Allmacher will forever be remembered for his kindness, courage, and unwavering love. His legacy will live on through the countless lives he touched and the memories shared with those fortunate enough to have known him.
