Beyond his professional accomplishments, John was a man of remarkable personality. He was very fun-loving and charismatic, possessing an unforgettable smile that had the power to brighten any room. Known for living life on his own terms, John was fiercely independent and strong-minded, yet beneath this resilience beat a heart of gold. Talented in multiple trades, he was always eager to share his skills and time, generously assisting others with various projects and endeavors.

John’s passion for cars defined much of his life. Starting at an extraordinarily young age, he became the youngest person in the state of Michigan to conduct vehicle emission testing at just 12 years old. He honed his mechanical expertise working at his father’s service station for many years. His love for classic and fast cars was evident in his frequent attendance at car shows and dragways. Among his many automotive interests, Mustangs held a special place in his heart, and John owned several throughout his life. His enthusiasm was infectious, as his face would light up vividly while discussing the latest modifications he made to enhance the performance of his beloved cars.

John is survived by his dear mother, Reva Johns, and his father, Kenneth Becker, along with Kenneth’s wife, Mary. He is also survived by his cherished sister, Charlene Monfette, and her husband, Michael, as well as their children Tyler, Sophia, and Olivia. Many aunts, uncles, and cousins also grieve his loss and remember him fondly.

He was predeceased by his stepfather, William Johns; his grandparents Edwin (Leo) and Ellen Becker (née Narkus); as well as William and Sophia Tebor (née Thacker). John’s legacy lives on through the memories cherished by his family and friends.

In remembering John Allen Becker, we honor a man whose laughter, care, and enduring spirit brought joy and kindness into the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him. His presence will be profoundly missed, yet his memory will continue to inspire and warm the hearts of many.
