Julie Lynn Call

Julie Lynn (Cote) Call was born in Grosse Pointe, Michigan on June 24, 1956. She was one of four children born from the union of the late Henry and the late Margaret (Couls) Cote. Julie married her late husband Robert Call in 1986 and together they raised their family in Roseville.

Julie was the proud mother of three daughters and two granddaughters. She was a fun loving summer gal who loved laughing and staying positive. She has always enjoyed being outside in the sun, planting flowers, boating and hosting backyard parties with Bob in her younger years.

Singing, entertaining and decorating for the holidays were a few of the things Julie loved most. Perhaps her favorite pastime of all was playing bingo alongside a classic Coke (with a lot of ice) and a sweet variety of snacks. She always stood up for the underdog and had a natural instinct to protect, even strangers.

Julie Lynn Call, age 66 of Utica, passed away on February 10, 2023 with her daughters and sister surrounding her with love.

To cherish her memory, Julie leaves her three children: Kelly Mattox, Kimberly (Jason) Waldron and Kortney (Armando) Lane. She is also survived by two grandchildren: Makala and Madison Mattox; one sister: Shelley (Steve) Cote Hill; two brothers: Rick (Anita) Cote and Todd (Monique) Cote; and many nieces and nephews.

Family and Friends may gather from 11:00am to 2:00pm on Sunday, February 26, 2023 at Northpoint Village, 45201 Northpointe Blvd, Utica, Michigan 48315. A Celebration of Life will be shared by family and friends from 1-2pm.
