Kathleen Santo

Kathleen Santo, a beloved wife, mother, sister, and friend, passed away on January 26, 2026, in Warren, Michigan at the age of 73. Born on April 4, 1952, in Detroit, Michigan, Kathleen touched the lives of many with her warm personality and infectious laughter. She made everyone feel loved and cherished, bringing joy to every room she entered.

Kathleen’s interests included spending time at her beloved cabin up north in Manistee, where she enjoyed peaceful moments amidst nature. Alongside her sister Jane, she found delight in visiting the Little River Casino, creating cherished memories filled with laughter. At home, she demonstrated her unique charm by engaging in what she fondly called “washing rocks” in the yard and tending to her flower bed, further showcasing her endearing nature. Her light-hearted spirit was a source of joy, and her laugh was truly contagious.

Kathleen is survived by her four children: Tina, Corey, Craig, and her loving son-in-law Rob and daughter-in-law Ashley. She was a proud grandmother to Aaron, Julia, Morgan, and Stevie, and a great-grandmother to little Penelope (Penny). Her joy as a grandmother and great-grandmother was a testament to the love she shared with her family.

She is remembered by her sister Jane, her brother John and brother-in-law John, and sister-in-law Valerie. Kathleen's legacy continues through her numerous nieces and nephews, including Jason, Willie, Cindy, Shannon, John Jr., Joey, Katie, Jamie, JJ, Dylan, Brandy, Lena, Aleya, Devan, and Sam, all of whom were touched by her kindness and humor.

Kathleen Santo was preceded in death by her beloved husband, the late Daniel Paul Santo, and her cherished parents, the late John and Betty Cavaliere and her sister Laura. She will be profoundly missed by her family and all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Kathleen's spirit and laughter will remain in the hearts of those she left behind, forever reminding them of the love she shared so freely throughout her life.
