Kenneth “Corky” Delargey, 73, of Warren, Michigan, passed away peacefully on December 25, 2024, surrounded by his family. Born on February 18, 1951, in Detroit, Michigan, Corky was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather.
Corky married the love of his life, Brenda Delargey (née Wismer), on July 8, 1972. Their 52 years of marriage were a testament to their deep love and commitment to each other. Brenda was not only his wife but also his unwavering partner and closest friend through every chapter of life.
Corky is survived by his two children, Donna Mirabella (Carmen) and Kenny Delargey (Jesse). He was a proud grandfather to five grandchildren: Carmen (19), Vinny (16), Leo (13), Giada (9), and Francesca “Frankie” (1).
A lifelong fan of the Detroit Lions, Corky’s passion for football was matched only by his love for family. He was thrilled to witness the Lions’ success this season, a joy that brought a smile to his face in his final days.
He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him.
A luncheon to celebrate his life will be held at a later date.
