Kevin Michael Pipes

Kevin Michael Pipes, born January 2, 1972.

Today are hearts are all heavy with pain and sorrow, but also filled with love for the loss of Kevin Michael Pipes. To know this man was a true honor. You could not know Mike, and not love him. 

He passed away at the age of 53, leaving behind his four children Nick Pipes, (Paola Pipes) Nate Pipes, Connor Pipes and Tessa Pipes. A proud grandpa to Luca Pipes. But he was more than just a father and grandfather he was a brother to his four siblings. Ron Ratledge (Leticia Ratledge), Scott Pipes, Jim Pipes (Cathie Pipes) and Matthew Hickerson. He was joined in heaven by his mother (Edith Hickerson), father (Scott Pipes) and step father (Rex Hickerson).

 Mikes greatest pride was being a father, he loved his kids and grandson more than anything in life. He wasn’t your stereotypical dad growing up, he would change diapers, cook, clean and work a full time laboring job. I think that made him pretty special. Mike was most know for his automotive tire work for the last 20+ years. One of the greatest things Mike taught us all was how to be humble. He never thought of himself as greater than anyone, little did he know the huge imprint he left on all of us. Mike was not one for the spotlight, but his presence was impactful. He was rich in wisdom, love, and kindness. Mike enjoyed listening to music, gathering with friends, spending time with family and most recently a friendly game of pool. 

Mike, I hope you know all of the lives you impacted in such a special way. Your love never went unnoticed. Your presence was the greatest gift you gave us. You will be missed deeper than we can put into words.
