Mrs. MarÃa del Carmen "Lala" Estupiñán, age 73, of Peabody died on Thursday February 28, 2013 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House, Danvers, Massachusetts.
Born in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain she was the wife of the late Marcelino Estupiñán, the youngest daughter of the late Pedro GarcÃa and Asunción Torres and sister of the late Jesús and Paulina Felicidad.
MarÃa del Carmen loved to travel (she lived in Spain, Venezuela, The Netherlands, Belgium, France and the USA and visited many other countries), enjoyed to learn languages, loved nature especially dolphins and dogs and had a passion for decoration and violin music. She was totally devoted to her family (especially to her two sons) and she showed her generosity, sincerity and kindness in every place where she lived. She was beloved by everybody. She will be remembered with great love and she will always live in our hearts.
She is survived by her two sons, Jeral and his wife Ariadne and Edgar, her granddaughter Isabella, a sister in law Clara Maria Estela, several nephews and nieces (Jesús Marcial, MarÃa Candelaria, MarÃa Beatriz, David Bernardino and his wife MarÃa del Carmen, Luis Antonio and his wife MarÃa Candelaria, MarÃa Jesús and her husband Francisco, MatÃas and his wife MarÃa, Francisco and his wife Sara and Felicidad), many cousins, other relatives, and many special friends.
Private memorial mass will be held in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Spain on Monday March 11th at 7 PM in the Church of Santa Teresa de Jesús.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the American Cancer Society (www.cancer.org) and to Angel Flight NE (www.angelflightne.org).
Special thanks to the generosity of the Angle Flight NE organization and to the multiple Angel Flight pilots who made possible all the flights between Beverly, MA and Philadelphia, PA for medical treatment, to the American Cancer Society for their generous Hope Lodge program, and to all her neighbors and friends who helped her so much throughout her treatment. We are forever indebted.

La señora MarÃa del Carmen "Lala" Estupiñán, de 73 años, de Peabody falleció el jueves 28 de febrero del 2013 en Kaplan Family Hospice House, Danvers, Massachusetts.
Nacida en Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Islas Canarias, España era la viuda de Marcelino Estupiñán, la hija menor de Pedro GarcÃa y Asunción Torres y hermana de Jesús y Paulina Felicidad.
A MarÃa del Carmen le fascinaba viajar (vivió en España, Venezuela, Holanda, Bélgica, Francia y los EE.UU., además de visitar muchos otros paÃses), disfrutaba aprendiendo idiomas, le encantaba la naturaleza especialmente los delfines y los perros y era apasionada por la decoración y la música del violÃn. Ella siempre se dedicó a su familia, en especial a sus dos hijos, y mostró su generosidad, sinceridad y bondad en cada sitio donde vivió. Fué muy querida por todos. La recordaremos con gran cariño y la llevaremos en nuestros corazones.
Le sobreviven sus dos hijos, Jeral y su esposa Ariadne y Edgar, su nieta Isabella, una cuñada Clara Maria Estela, sobrinos y sobrinas (Jesús Marcial, MarÃa Candelaria, MarÃa Beatriz, David Bernardino y su esposa MarÃa del Carmen, Luis Antonio y su esposa MarÃa Candelaria, MarÃa Jesús y su esposo Francisco, MatÃas y su esposa MarÃa, Francisco y su esposa Sara y Felicidad), primos, demás familiares y muchos amigos especiales.
Misa privada en su memoria se oficiará en Santa Cruz de Tenerife, España el lunes 11 de marzo a las 7 PM en la Iglesia Santa Teresa de Jesús.
