It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mark Daniel Trombley, who left this world on May 26, 2024, surrounded by his loved ones at his home in Roseville, Michigan. Mark was born on November 14, 1954, in Detroit, Michigan, to his proud parents, Joe and Kathleen Trombley.
Mark followed in his father's footsteps and had fulfilling career as a commercial roofer before retiring in December 2009. He was a dedicated member of the Roofers Union Local 149 and took great pride in his work. Mark not just a hard worker but also a loving son, brother, father, and grandfather. He shared the best of himself with his family and friends and will always be remembered for his kind and generous spirit.
In his free time, Mark enjoyed various hobbies and interests that brought him joy and relaxation. He spent his days fishing, hunting, traveling Up North, watching Detroit Tigers baseball games, performing yo-yo tricks, and flying kites. Mark had a passion for old Western movies and spent many evenings listening to Rock and Roll and Country Music on the radio. In recent years, he found true joy working in his gardens and creating delicious baked goods in his kitchen.
Mark's passing came after a short battle with pancreatic cancer, leaving behind a void in the hearts of all who knew him. He is predeceased by his parents, Joe and Kathleen Trombley, as well as his sister Jane Serra.
Mark will be deeply missed by his surviving family members and friends: Linda Whittle (Significant Other), Misti McMurray (Daughter), Benjamin (Son), Caleb (Grandson), Zane (Grandson), Gayle (Tom) Boles (Sister), Echo (John) Hunt (Sister), and he was also an uncle to Jessica, Robert, Blaine, Cameron; Kathleen; Clay; as well as a great uncle to many nieces and nephews who adored him.
As we mourn the loss of Mark Daniel Trombley from our lives, let us find solace in the memories we shared with him. May he rest peacefully in the arms of God until we meet again. A Celebration of Life will take place in the upcoming months.
