A beautiful soul has moved on. Mary, age 87, passed away in hospice care within the loving arms of her husband on September 28th, 2025. She was born in Detroit, Michigan.
She is survived by her loving husband Vito Guaiana they were happily married for 30 years and lived in Sterling Heights. Her brother, Dominick (Rosemary) Lopez; children, Deborah (Gregory) Tourville, Linda (Danny) Colombe, Richard (Ann Marie) Velez Jr, Kathleen (Robert) Orlilowski, Raymond (Nancy) Velez, and Tracey Guaiana. She is also survived 18 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren; and her loving dog, Teddy.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Francesco & Angelina Lopez; her 1st husband, Richard James Velez, with whom she had 6 children; son Robert Francis Velez; and sister, Julie Morello.
