Mary Ann Kitson

August 30, 1953 — February 3, 2023

Mary Ann Kitson passed away on February 3, 2023. Born on August 30, 1953 to the late George and Lois (nee: Saylor) Kitson in Detroit, Michigan. Mary was raised in Madison Heights, Michigan where she graduated from Madison High School. After High School Mary started the workforce, doing all sorts of things from cleaning local hotels to working within a manufacturing company.

As she grew older, her family seemed to grow rather quickly. She was known as a lady who would do anything for her family at any time and loved them dearly. When she wasn't hanging around family, she was a known collector of all things butterflies and angels, meeting new friends with her great sense of humor and personality and would be frequently seen hanging out and talking with the "Bad Grandmas" as her family likes to call them. Mary was a great Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother.

She is predeceased by her parents George and Lois Kitson and her son Jason Hawley. She is survived by her children Shannon (Ralph Jr.) Roth, Albert III (Dawn) and Matthew Hawley. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Christopher (Rebecca) Hawley, Franklin Saxton II, Kali Roth, Austin (Meah) Forrest, Austin Karpinski, Alexander Stanchik, Jacob Hotchkiss, Madison Hawley and Abel Hawley. Further survivors include her great grand children, Jason Saxton, Trey-Robert Smith Jr., Mary-Jane Smith, Corbin Saxton and her siblings, George Kitson, David (Lynnae) Kitson, Wayne (Robin) Kitson and Lois Kitson (Shea Williams).

A Memorial Service will be scheduled at a later date. Please leave your memories of Mary above in the Memory Book.
