MaryAnn Ceceilia Kaminski

MaryAnn Cecelia Kaminski passed away peacefully on August 19, 2026, surrounded by the family she loved so dearly. Born on October 24, 1943, MaryAnn lived a life centered around family, love, togetherness, and the memories created along the way.

MaryAnn married her high school sweetheart and the love of her life, Dennis, on October 26, 1963. For more than six decades, they shared a beautiful life together, built on love, devotion, family, and a lifetime of memories.

Of all the things MaryAnn treasured, nothing meant more to her than her family. She was a loving mother to Brian (Alice), Terilyn (Mark), and Donald; a proud grandmother to Megan, Pete, and Sloan; and a cherished great-grandmother to Olivia and Julietta. She also shared a special and loving bond with her beloved baby sister, Annette.

MaryAnn had a wonderful way of making her home feel like a place where everyone belonged. Her door-and her heart-were always open to family and friends. Holidays, birthdays, and family gatherings were especially meaningful to her, and she loved nothing more than having the people she cared about gathered together.

Some of the most treasured memories of MaryAnn can be found in those moments: sitting around the table sharing a meal, laughing and telling stories, playing cards, celebrating holidays, and simply enjoying one another’s company. She loved cooking Polish food for her family and was always happy to enjoy a trip or two to the casino. She understood that some of life’s greatest moments were often the simplest ones-good food, laughter, family, and time spent together.

MaryAnn will be remembered for her warm heart, her generosity, and the love she gave so freely. She had a way of making those around her feel welcomed, cared for, and loved. The traditions she created, the memories she made, and the love she poured into her family have become a lasting part of the generations that follow her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Stanley and Cecelia, and her brother, Eugene.

Although MaryAnn’s absence leaves an immeasurable space in the lives of those who loved her, her family finds comfort in knowing she is now at peace and reunited with those who went before her. She leaves behind a lifetime of memories that will continue to be shared through stories, traditions, laughter, and the family she loved more than anything.

A Funeral Mass celebrating MaryAnn’s life will be held on Friday, September 11, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Peter’s Church, 95 Market Street, Mt. Clemens, Michigan 48043. A luncheon will follow.
