Michael Lawrence Mulvaney, a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away on July 28th, 2023 at the age of 60. Surrounded by his loving family, Mike left us with cherished memories of a life well-lived.

Born on September 24th, 1962 to Larry and Carol Mulvaney, Mike brought joy and laughter into their lives from the moment he arrived. He was the kind of person who could light up a room with his infectious laugh and warm smile. Mike was an adventurer at heart and, some forty years ago, he embarked on a journey from Michigan to California in search of new experiences and opportunities.

In his early days in California, Mike proved himself to be a resourceful and self-taught handyman. With an entrepreneurial spirit and inventive ideas, he carved out his own pathway in life. He was known for his willingness to lend a helping hand to those in need and had an uncanny ability to bring people together. His generous nature was a true testament to his character.

Mike's love for dogs was unwavering, and he now joins his beloved Samantha in heaven. They are sure to be playing catch together once again. He had an appreciation for nature's wonders, particularly eagles soaring through the sky. Standing out in the rain or observing stormy weather brought him a sense of peace and awe. In his leisure time, Mike enjoyed fishing and playing golf - activities that allowed him to connect with nature while enjoying some relaxation.

Aside from his immediate family, Mike leaves behind an extended family in Canada as well as numerous close friends from both Michigan and California. His ability to form deep connections wherever he went was truly remarkable. He had a unique gift for making others feel loved and valued.

In honoring Mike's memory, the family has decided not to hold any formal viewing or services. Instead, they will be organizing a celebration of life in the near future. This gathering will serve as an opportunity for close friends and family to come together and commemorate the wonderful person Mike was. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that those wishing to honor his memory consider making a donation to a local animal rescue or cancer organization - causes that were close to Mike's heart.

As we bid farewell to Mike, let us raise our glasses in toast to a life well-lived. May his spirit continue to shine bright in our hearts, reminding us of the immeasurable impact one person can have on the lives of others. Mike's laughter, kindness, and zest for life will forever be treasured and celebrated by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
