As a beloved mother, Mildred was known for her nurturing presence that created a warm and welcoming home for her family. She tirelessly ensured that her family was not only well-fed with meals prepared with love but also surrounded by an atmosphere of joy and affection. Her children, Alvin (Jan) Sexton, Tammy Marcoux, and Jimmy (Chelly) Sexton, were her pride and joy, and she cherished them deeply.

Mildred's legacy of love extends to her grandchildren, who were fortunate to have her guiding influence in their lives. She is lovingly remembered by Robin Marcoux, Tony (Leann) Sexton, Bobby Marcoux, Joe (Kat) Sexton, Jackie (Robert) Morley, Tyler Sexton, and Reese Sexton. Mildred’s bond with her great-grandchildren, Gage, Hunter, Abby, Lilly, and June, was equally special, as she embraced each moment spent with them, fostering moments of love and laughter.

Born into a large family, Mildred was also a beloved sister to Myrna Pavlovich, Arlene Mikolowski, Gerald Brazelton, James Brazelton, and Bruce Brazelton. She was preceded in death by her brothers Daniel, Robert, Andrew, and sister Elsie Brazelton. The warmth of family ties was an essential part of her life, encompassing her caring spirit for both her immediate and extended family.

Mildred had a deep passion for animals and dedicated herself to caring for those in need, touching the lives of many with her healing spirit. She found joy in various hobbies such as crocheting, reading, and gardening, where she drew peace and fulfillment from tapping into the beauty of nature that surrounded her.

Mildred was the devoted wife of the late George Sexton, who passed away in 2007. Together, they exemplified a partnership rooted in love and respect, a foundation that continues to nourish their family’s bonds.

A small gathering to celebrate Mildred's remarkable life will be held on November 30, 2024, at the Harbor Club North Marina in Harrison Township, Michigan. Friends and family are invited to join in remembrance and reflection from 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM. A private inurnment service will be held at Cadillac Memorial Gardens East Cemetery, where she will be put to rest next to her husband, George.

Mildred Ann Sexton's spirit will undoubtedly continue to resonate within the hearts of those she loved and who loved her. Her legacy of kindness, nurturing, and family devotion serves as a guiding light for all who knew her.
