Nicholas John Prentiss

Nicholas "Nick" John Prentiss, age 37, a life-long resident of Warren, Michigan, passed away on Friday, May 28, 2021. While the circumstances surrounding Nicholas' death are tragic, the 37 years of his life require celebration.

Linda, being a single mother, and Nicholas, were very close throughout Nick's life. It was always the two of them. But the love of Nick's life was Trish. Trish and Nick lived with Linda prior to Nick buying his house, which he and Trish made into their home. Nick has always been a home-body and Trish and Zeus made their little family complete.

Nick was very close to his grandparents, Richard and Joanne Prentiss, with whom he and Linda lived until Nick was 6. Nick was also awfully close with his Aunts Donna and Paula as well as his cousins Kenny and Jolene. Childhood friends of Nicks were Joel Kortright, James Seefried, and James and Joey Waeiss.

Nick played baseball, soccer, roller hockey and was a boy scout growing up. However, his true love was music. Nick played trumpet while in middle and high school, but also taught himself to play the drums and guitar. Nick's ultimate dream job was to be a music producer.

Nick graduated from Fitzgerald High School, and received an associate's degree from Baker College. He worked for Fraser Public Schools for the last ten years, and worked as a Forklift Driver, machinist prior to that.

Nick had a very dry sense of humor and a gregarious laugh. He was known to walk into friends and relatives' house and open the refrigerator door or pantry and ask "what do you have to eat?"
