Paul was born in Trenton, Michigan to Paul Frank LaBuhn Jr. and Maurine Holgate LaBuhn on October 18, 1936. He graduated from Trenton High School in 1953. Paul married Judy Mercure in 1956 and raised his family in Trenton until 1971, when he moved to Sterling Heights, MI. He owned and operated Maple Lane Pest Control for many years until 2011. Paul's passion was people. He had a knack for making a stranger feel like a longtime friend and had a very generous spirit. He was a revered storyteller and had a fabulous sense of humor. He was everyone's go-to person in times of trouble and gave all he had to help anyone in need.
Paul loved boating and being near the water. To honor Paul and his love of the water, his memorial service will be on the Detroit River at Elizabeth Park in Trenton, Michigan on May 14, 2022, at 2:00 pm.
