Randy Lee Kozicki, age 71, of Harper Woods, Michigan, passed away on August 17, 2026.
Randy was born on July 25, 1955, in Detroit, Michigan. He made his home in Harper Woods, where he built a life centered around his family and the people he loved.
On June 19, 1975, Randy married his beloved wife, Delia “Dee” Kozicki, at St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Grosse Pointe Park, Michigan. Together, they shared more than 51 years of marriage and built a loving family that remained at the heart of everything Randy valued.
Randy was a devoted husband, father, brother, and uncle. He is survived by his loving wife, Dee, and their three children: Randy Kozicki (Adrian Dianat), Shannon Bunch (Dan Bunch), and Todd Kozicki (Karen Wells).
He is also survived by his beloved grandchildren: Isabel, Emma, Ava, Ryan, Charlie, Ellie, Connor, Owen, Vivienne, and Liam.
Randy cherished being involved in the lives of his children and grandchildren. A lifelong fan of Detroit sports, he enjoyed attending games and following his favorite teams, but he especially loved cheering on his grandchildren from the sidelines. Some of his happiest moments were spent watching them grow, supporting their passions, and being there for the moments that mattered.
Randy was preceded in death by his parents, Elsie and Norman Spiegel; his beloved grandparents, Jack and Blanche Green; and his siblings, David Kozicki, Douglas Spiegel, Kenny Spiegel, and Marianna Spiegel.
He is survived by his siblings, William “Bill” Kozicki (Renee), Trisha Jar (David), Jack Spiegel, Norma Jean Mitchell (Jim), Norman Spiegel, and Steve Spiegel, as well as Christine, wife of his late brother David, and Katie, wife of his late brother Douglas. He is also survived by many loving cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended family members who will cherish his memory.
