Raymond Joseph Miller age 64 of Mason, Michigan passed away unexpectedly on September 20, 2020 at his home. Raymond was born November 25, 1955 in Detroit, Michigan the son of the late Jerome and Helen (nee: Pawlowski) Miller.
Ray was raised and educated in Detroit and was the 4th of the five Miller Boys. Ray loved the world and the world loved Ray! From his early formative years and later as a corporate trainer, Ray's Catholic faith fueled all aspects of his life.
His successful career as a corporate trainer for Dart Container Corporation, his athletic passions as a swimmer and runner, his insatiable appetite for knowledge, and his charitable soul as a volunteer coach and fund raiser took Ray around the globe. Ray made lifelong friends at every stop and probably sent a postcard to memorialize the adventure or just to say he was thinking of you along the way.
Raymond is survived by his brothers James Miller, and Paul (Maureen Dooley) Miller, his beloved nieces and nephews: Thomas "TJ" and Jessie Miller, Todd and Darcy Miller, Zander, Jacey, Nash, Ann-Marie Miller and David Transki, Lukas, Joey, Nessa, Elizabeth Miller, Matthew and Evan Miller.
Further surviving relatives are his sisters-in-law Carole Miller and Deborah "Deb" Miller, and many generations of loving cousins. Ray was preceded in death by his parents Jerome "Jerry" and Helen Miller and also his brothers Tom Miller and Michael Miller.
A global "Celebration of Ray" will be held at a future, safer date. Ray would want us to respect the virus, protect everyone's health, and enjoy a good party!
