Rhonda Lea Benton

Rhonda Lea Benton, beloved mother, grandmother, and sister, was born on July 23, 1961, in Detroit, Michigan, to Joanne Denney and Edward Benton. She was the proud sister to four sisters, Betty, Janita (known as Chick), Becky, Rosie, and one brother, David.

Throughout her life, Rhonda faced numerous challenges persevered with grace and strength. At the age of 17, she met her lifelong partner, Dave, in Indiana. Their love blossomed into a partnership that spanned over 40 years, during which they raised four wonderful children: Daniel, Lisa, Nick (Krystal), and Alex. Rhonda’s legacy continues through her seven cherished grandchildren: Timothy, Tristin, Terri, Autumn, Isabella, Sawyer, and Lukas, all of whom she loved deeply.

A devoted mother and grandmother, Rhonda was known for her unwavering support and love for her family, always eager to lend a helping hand, regardless of how old her children and grandchildren became. She also held a special place in her heart for her many nieces and nephews, treating each one with the affection and care they deserved.

Rhonda passed away peacefully on July 29, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She will be profoundly missed and forever remembered by all who knew her. Rhonda is preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Rebecca Apostolidis.

Her spirit and love will continue to be a guiding light for her family and friends.
