Robert D. Eldridge, born on November 21, 1976, passed away on September 12, 2024. He was a beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend, whose spirit and laughter will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Rob is survived by his beloved wife of 22 years, Laura Meyer-Eldridge, and their cherished son, Logan Eldridge, age 15, of Saint Clair Shores, MI. Robert was the son of the late Jimmy Ray Eldridge Sr. and Peggy Ann Fogerty-Parsons. Rob was preceded in death by his brother, Jimmy Ray Eldridge Jr. He is survived by his living sister, Terrie L. Eldridge-Mayday (husband James Mayday) of Waterford, MI, and his brother, Adam Eldridge of Potterville, MI. He also leaves behind his stepfather, Palmer W. Parsons of Pontiac, MI, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, five nephews, two nieces, four great-nephews, and seven great-nieces.
Rob had a passion for riding his Harley and was always the life of the party. He loved playing poker with friends, making every gathering one to remember. For 15 years, he courageously fought diabetes, demonstrating tremendous strength and resilience throughout his journey.
In honor of Rob's memory, there will be no formal funeral arrangements, but a private family gathering will be held to celebrate his life. His legacy of love, laughter, and adventure will continue to live on in the hearts of those he touched.
Rest in peace, Rob. Your spirit will forever ride with us.
