Robert Roy Tibbs

Robert Roy Tibbs, affectionately known as "Boss," was born on July 14, 1965, in Trenton, Michigan. He passed away on May 12, 2025, in Warren, Michigan, leaving behind a legacy marked by love, generosity, and devotion to family.

A man of many talents, Robert spent much of his life immersing himself in his passions. He found joy in building and fixing things, particularly motorbikes, reflecting his hands-on approach to life. A true culinary enthusiast, he delighted in barbequing and cherished the moments spent grilling alongside his loved ones. Robert's personality shone brightly in all his endeavors; he was known for his kindness and would selflessly give his shirt off his back for anyone in need.

Robert's family was the center of his universe. He is survived by his beloved wife, Kimberly Tibbs, and their children: Robert (Stacy) Sitek, Ashley (Randy) Hovey, Tiffany (Mychal) Tibbs, and Violet (Justin) Tibbs. His legacy also lives on through his fourteen cherished grandchildren: Jeffrey, Shayla, Alexandria, Eli, Darik, Andrew, Connor, Delilah, Emma, Misty, Justin Jr., Bentley, and Harper, each of whom carried a special place in his heart.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Virginia Hensley and Monroe Tibbs, who undoubtedly instilled in him the values that he carried throughout his life.

Robert Roy Tibbs will be remembered not only for his talents and hobbies but also for the indelible impact he had on his family and friends. His spirit of love and compassion will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know him.
