Roy Allan Redden

July 9, 1947 — February 4, 2024

Lake Orion, Michigan

Roy Allan Redden, affectionately known as Al & Big Al, lived a life that was undoubtedly his own. He embraced each moment unapologetically and on his own terms, finding joy in the simple pleasures that life had to offer. Born in Detroit, Michigan, Roy's journey came to a peaceful end February 4, 2024 in Troy, Michigan.

Roy had a magnetic personality that drew people towards him, and he cherished every opportunity to be surrounded by loved ones. One of his greatest joys was taking to the waters on his pontoon boat, accompanied by his loyal canine companion, Sailor, as well as family and friends. His love for boating was a reflection of his love for companionship and adventure.

In the hearts of those who survive him, Roy leaves behind a legacy of love and unforgettable memories. His daughters Stacy (Paul) Michalski and Janelle Woodford will forever hold dear the moments shared with their father. Roy's presence will also be deeply missed by his grandchildren: PJ Michalski, Nicholas Michalski, Jacob Woodford, Drew Woodford, and Ashley Woodford.

Roy Allan Redden's unique spirit and zest for life will continue to inspire all those who were fortunate enough to have known him. May he rest in peace, surrounded by the eternal love of those he held dear.
