Ruby Bailey peacefully passed away on March 8, 2026, at the incredible age of 97, surrounded by her loving family. Ruby was preceded in death by her parents, seven brothers, one sister, and her beloved husband of 42 years, Carado Bailey. She is survived by her children Tommy (Kristin) Bridges and Pamela (Michael) Montroy, her grandchildren Mindy, Tommy Jr., Tiffany, Jessica, Brandon, Andrew, Christopher, and Kim, her sister Beulah, her Mallo Cup buddy, Jason, and many great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

She was a loved wife, mother, grandma, sister, aunt, and friend who held a special place in the lives of those who knew her. She and her husband faced many challenges in life, yet she met every obstacle with remarkable strength and courage. Her resilience through adversity was an inspiration to all of us.

Her vibrant personality shined through her wonderful outfits, always perfectly paired with her favorite matching jewelry. She loved collecting bears, a hobby that always brought her joy and happiness. Bowling in a league with her friends was something she truly enjoyed for many years. She loved traveling and cherished the many trips she shared with her husband, family, and friends. One of her favorite thrills was the excitement of a slot machine, and she never passed up the chance for a little fun and laughter at the casino.

She was a talented and creative woman who loved working with her hands. She first shared her talent through beautifully decorated cakes and later created handmade jewelry, proudly displaying her work at many craft shows over the years. In addition to her creativity, she was also a wonderful cook. Family and friends especially looked forward to her famous mac and cheese, a dish that became a favorite at many gatherings.

At this time, there will be no funeral services. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by her family and all who knew her.
