Russell William Krieg, age 83, died Saturday December 12, 2020 at Ascension St. John Hospital and Medical Center in Detroit, Michigan. Russell was born February 10, 1937 in Detroit, Michigan the son of the late Walter William Krieg and the late Florence Judith (nee: Moll) Krieg.
Russell was loving referred to as "Pop" by all who knew him. He was a proud member of the Knights of Columbus, and also during his life enjoyed bowling, golfing, and visiting the casinos in both Detroit and Las Vegas.
Russell is survived by his sons Michael (Jacklyn) Krieg, and David (Colette) Krieg. He was the loving grandfather of Nicole (George) Walker, Michael Krieg II, Brian Krieg, Erin (Todd) Delore, John Krieg, and great grandfather of Michael Krieg III, Kenneth Belz, Sylar Walker, and Kaydence Walker. Russell was predeceased by his parents and his two sons, Russell M. Krieg, and Steven Krieg.
A private memorial gathering for family and friends will be held at a later date. Please share memories of Russell at his memory book above.
