Sandra K. Wheeler

Sandra Kaye Wheeler (Dawson) passed away November 6, 2022 in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

Originally born in San Diego, Sandra has been a Michigander for majority of her adulthood, raising her kids, grandkids and being a Mother figure for many others. To know Sandra was to know someone who had a great love and relationship with God and her love for all God's children. So much so, she devoted a career in child development to help any child and watch them grow. Her dream was always to open her own foster home, to help provide for children in need. She had other hobbies as well, whether it included her cats, any sort of animal, gardening, but especially her grandchildren who she loved whole heartedly.

Her family knew her as a loving person, who had the ability to make anyone laugh in the room and was notorious for being the life of every family get together. Her sense of humor and loving personality is what made Sandra herself, and lit up everyone's faces if they had the pleasure of being around her.

Sandra is predeceased by her Father, Jack Dawson Sr. and her brother, Jack Dawson Jr.
She is survived by her Mother, Mary, her Sister Angie (Rudy) and her Brother Chuck.
Sandra is also survived by her children, Aaron (Klara), David (Kerrie), Benjamin (Theangela) and Mary along with her grandchildren, Alyssa, Lilly, James, Kurtis, Dawson, Barrett, Alexis, Ellie and Brendan.
She is survived by many other loving family members and her Church Family who she so deeply loved being apart of.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:30 PM on November 12, 2022 at the First Baptist Church of Troy.
