Lorraine was born on November 22, 1942, in Newfoundland, Canada. She embarked on a new chapter in her life when her family emigrated to the United States during her teenage years. Here she built a life and became an esteemed U.S. citizen.

Her dedication to family was unwavering. Lorraine's role as a wife and mother was her first priority. After the passing of her loving husband George in 1987, Lorraine found fulfillment in a successful career as a nursing assistant for over 15 years.

She had a remarkable ability to welcome others with open arms and a beaming smile that made them feel instantly at home. Lorraine's generosity knew no bounds; she gave selflessly without hesitation.

Throughout her life, Lorraine exhibited unwavering strength and resilience. She resided in the same cherished home in St. Clair Shores, Michigan for an impressive 55 years. While many of her family members eventually moved to different states, they returned frequently to gather under the roof where countless memories were made. These joyful reunions were filled with music and laughter—a testament to the love that radiated from Lorraine.

Hockey held a special place in Lorraine's heart; she had an unrivaled passion for the sport. She could often be found cheering enthusiastically for her favorite team while sharing stories of memorable games throughout the years. Elvis Presley also occupied a special corner of her heart, and his music provided the soundtrack to many cherished moments.

In the culinary realm, Lorraine had a unique taste for liver and onions—a dish she thoroughly enjoyed. However, her greatest pleasure was bringing her family together around a table filled with love, laughter, and delicious homemade meals.

Lorraine celebrated her 80th birthday surrounded by those she held dear in November 2022. The milestone was an occasion to reflect on a life well-lived and to be grateful for the love and joy she had shared.
