Steven Charles Bodnar, born on February 15, 1961, in Detroit, Michigan. His career in engineering took him to various states including Michigan, Illinois, Minnesota, and Florida, where he left a lasting impact with his dedication and expertise.
Growing up in Warren, Steven graduated from Cousino High School before pursuing higher education. He attended Oakland University and later obtained his Electrical Engineering Degree from the University of South Florida after making Florida his home. Steven's commitment to learning and growth was evident throughout his academic and professional endeavors.
Beyond his professional life, Steven had a vibrant array of hobbies and interests. He had a deep passion for music and often serenaded his neighbors with the melodies of his guitar. Engaging in karaoke sessions, writing poetry, composing songs, and indulging in games of chess were among the activities that fueled his creative spirit.
On April 18, 2024, Steven Charles Bodnar passed away in Sterling Heights, Michigan. He was preceded in death by his loving parents George and Lynn Bodnar.
Steven is survived by his sister Deanna (Nick) Clough, sister Louise (John Wallner) Trentacosta, brother Jim Bodnar, sister Debbie (Daniel) Kelih, as well as nephews Adam (the late Sherry) Way, Drew Trentacosta, Stefan (Emma) Trentacosta, and Dylan Lambert.
May he rest in peace knowing the impact he made on those around him will never be forgotten. A private memorial will take place at a later date.
