Susan Joan Babich

Susan Joan Babich age 66, of Roseville, died December 28, 2021, at Beaumont Hospital in Wayne. Susan was born July 13, 1955 in Hamtramck, Michigan, daughter of Audrey (nee: Cichowski) and the late Stephen Babich.
Susan was raised in St. Clair Shores, Michigan and later graduated from Lakeview High School the graduating class of 1973.
Following her schooling, Sue worked in Accounts Receivable as a clerk in the medical field. She retired from Dr. L. Reynolds & Associates after 30+ years of employment. Sue was also an active member of the Friendly Sons of St. Patrick.
When Sue was not working, she enjoyed reading and watching old movies. Her favorite animated character was Tigger from Winnie the Pooh. Sue loved spending time with her family – especially at her favorite vacation destination, Silver Lake, where she enjoyed the sand dunes and watching sunsets.
Susan was a loyal friend. She was thoughtful and shared her family with her friends, so they weren't alone on holidays. She was supportive and always willing to stand with her friends when they tried something new, so they weren't going it alone. Sue was also a very generous and caring person. Sue didn't enjoy cooking very much, however she made an awesome chicken stir fry... so if she invited you over, you knew what was for dinner! Her best friend describes her as a "chochoholic", however, Sue would hide chocolate everywhere in the apartment they shared, once the candy came out she was always willing to share! She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Susan is survived by her siblings Dennis (Judy) Babich and Janet (Dan) Taegel. She was the loving aunt to David (Elizabeth) Babich, Jackie (John) Carney, Matthew, Ryan and Kevin Taegel; favorite great aunt to Ben and Lexie Babich, and JP Carney IV.
A Celebration of Life Mass will be held on January 22, 2022 at St. Isaac Jogues Catholic Church, 21100 Madison, St. Clair Shores. A gathering of family and friends at 10:00am until time of Mass at 10:30am.
