Thomas Xavier Brown, beloved husband, father, and friend, passed away on September 9, 2024, in Mount Clemens, Michigan, at the age of 73. Born on February 24, 1951, in Detroit, Michigan, Thomas lived a life filled with love, dedication, and joy.
A respected figure in the plastics industry, Thomas had a successful career as a salesman, where he earned the admiration of his peers and clients through his unwavering commitment and professionalism. He retired having made lasting contributions to his field, leaving behind a legacy of excellence.
Outside of his career, Thomas was a loving husband to Cheri Brown (nee: Setchell), with whom he shared a beautiful marriage since June 29, 1991. Together, they created a nurturing and supportive home for their children, instilling in them the values of love and hard work. He is survived by his sons: Rick Brown, Patrick Brown (Kimm), and Joshua Brown (Kayla), as well as his daughter, Megan Brown (Nick). Thomas took great pride in being a grandfather to his cherished grandchildren, Lukas, Sarah, Ivan, Bella, and Anni, sharing countless joyful moments with them throughout his life. Additionally, he is survived by his sister, Jodi Good.
Thomas had a zest for life that extended well beyond his family and career. He was an avid golfer, spending many hours on the golf course, where he created lasting memories with friends and family. A lifelong supporter of the University of Michigan sports teams, he passionately followed their games, celebrating their victories with unrestrained enthusiasm. His love of history and reading enriched his life, constantly feeding his curiosity about the world.
He was preceded in death by his father Richard Brown, his mother Eileen Brown, his brother Kevin Brown, and his sister Patricia Fromm. Their memories were treasured throughout his life, and they remain in the hearts of those who loved him.
A memorial service to honor Thomas's life will be held on September 14, 2024, starting at 1:00 PM at the Fox Chase Condominiums Clubhouse in Clinton Township, Michigan. Family and friends are invited to join together to celebrate the life of Thomas Xavier Brown— a loving father, husband, and a truly remarkable man whose memory will forever inspire all who had the privilege of knowing him.
